Google has provided a few prefabricated search commands for advanced users available, filter the results based on the input of queries. 1. Dot (..) operator: The operator will help you to find results with numbers in a certain range you specified. Remember that there should be no spaces in the query string.
Syntax: Text number..number

use: If you are looking for a specific market research report and you have a price range or budget in mind.
2. Wild Card (*) Operator: This operator is also known as filling in the blanks operators. Each * (asterisk) for one or more words in a particular phrase. Google acknowledges * as a wildcard for a single word or group of words.

Use: If you remember only certain sentences and parts are not in the able to remember the exact words, or you want someone include the name and you miss his / her middle / last / first name, this command will be the right choice for you.
3. Site command: If you want to search for something specific within a site, this command will again include all associated pages for the word.
Syntax: Keyword / keyword site: URL

use: If you are looking for a report or looking for specific data within a site, this command will bring the results that can tell you whether the requested data is available within the Web site, or you have to look for another site. In fact, a real time saver.
