There are many important tasks for Christian mission. But all that may be listed, there are seven key tasks that are most crucial. This article describes and briefly discusses the seven key points relevant to Christian mission.
Christian Foreign Missions exists:
1 Exalt the name of the one true God
2. exemplify the Body of Christ
3. evangelize unbelievers
4. Disciples Educate
. 5 Ask Local Church bodies
6. Create and Empower national Leaders
7. promoting national church as Co-Laborers in Christ
the name of the one true God Exalt
Firstly, there Christian mission to raise the name of the one true God. Christians believe that there is only one Lord God Almighty, the Creator of the universe and all living things. He made each person special to be with the eternal value clearly people in his eyes. glorify His name means God or to glorify in simple words, to make it look to God for other good and attractive. Sure, others have the right to reject God, but they should reject it never because of the unseemly nature of a mission group or team member.
exemplify the Body of Christ
Second, Christian missions over the body of Christ by way of example. to exemplify Christ's body is the kind of loving community to model that Jesus comes from the knowledge and go along sacred in God's presence. Christian missionaries are far from perfect, but as a group they are made to others around the world, a kind of support and companionship to demonstrate that do not exist in the secular world. Christian Mission teams are ambassadors or ambassadors who represent the kingdom of God, a place of refuge, a safe haven from the storms of life. To illustrate the body of Christ means to appreciate each member along with their specific features and characteristics and to help God to flourish today full potential. As such, team members seek God together and if conflict arises, as it is inevitable, they are quick to talk through differences, forgive each other and walk forward together, hand in hand.
evangelize unbelievers
The third essential task of the Christian missions is to evangelize unbelievers. Unfortunately, the term - evangelize- a bad connotation, as there is the image of a Christian one non-Christians over the head with a Bible hammers until they cower into submission and - pray but the sinner prayer.- in this context, the term - evangelize- simply means - for them the good news of God's great love to tell. To bear witness to him who he is and what he has done.
If there is only one true God, it's a necessity that Christians, including Christian missionaries, by him people are saying and how they can have a relationship with him. Telling other contains the good news on the cross in order to pay about God's Son, Jesus Christ, His loving sacrifice tells the penalty for our sins, and as death Jesus conquered by the third day rise.
Perhaps it should be written that the good news to say, does not mean Christ another person push the throat down. Not even the most persuasive person, another person to make a true believer by coercion. Christians are called to be loving, friendly and welcoming. It is God's task to convince others to believe; it is the task of the Christian Missions simply to present the good news in a loving way.
Educate disciples of Jesus Christ
The fifth purpose of Christian missions is to educate students. To educate students means that the new believers to teach you how to grow in their faith and knowledge of God and Jesus Christ. The main source of teaching should be the Christian Bible. New believers should be taught or trained in the basic fundamentals of the Christian faith and practice, including:
- Worship God
- Read and study the Bible
- Pray for yourself and others
- fellowship with other believers
- conflicts Deal
- Forgive yourself and others
- other than God and Jesus Say
Sets Local Church Bodies
another object germane to Christian missions is to establish local ecclesiastical institutions or to start new church groups. Christians were never meant to live their lives in isolation. Each person is individually created within a larger organization of believers to function. The reason why this is so, because every human being is in his ability finally. No one is good at everything. Christians need balance each other and each other thrive to help to its optimum potential. The Christian Bible tells us that every member of the Christian family has been given in the administration of the church unique spiritual gifts to aide. The goal is to create a place of community of love where fellow believers can worship God and to support themselves in their relationship with God and His Son Jesus Christ.
It should be noted that a local church establishment does not mean to make the Church in the form of American or Western cultural norms. Every culture has its own unique expression of what it means to do church. Missionaries should allow national believers to explore what to do church means in their own cultural context.
Finally, a part of the task to set up a local church authority to teach and to train them in the administration of the church. This also belongs through the process of implementing:
- define their own vision for the Church,
- Be guidelines for church discipline
- Learning how to handle church finances.
Equip and Empower national Leaders
A sixth object of Christian missions is to provide national leaders and empower. The ultimate goal of the Christian mission team is to work from a job. Many missionaries lacking faith and trust in God to keep his church going when they leave. Christian leaders are often too slow to be from the domination of the leadership of the national believers. It seems a bit ironic that these missionaries who leave God enough familiar home and family to go to a foreign country far away enough faith in God are not able to raise muster competent management in place. Nevertheless, leadership development is a central task of Christian mission team.
promote regional church as Co-Laborers in Christ
It is for the Christian mission organization no real goal is to be remain bottom forever. It is another imperative that mission teams to define an exit strategy, to define clearly what a mature national church should look and how out again when the appropriate time comes. However, this does not mean that the relationship has to end. In fact, the seventh purpose of the Christian mission, to promote national church as co-workers in Christ. Such support can come through letters or regular visits. If a mission organization from a foreign territory, the national church and or one or more of the local bodies periods is left when they are experiencing hard times. It is not to jump back and again take the reins, but to be there for moral support and encouragement, the object of the mission group.
